Empowering women in STEM to build confidence, lead with authenticity, and amplify their impact.
Mentoring and professional development for women building meaningful careers in STEM.
Technical training teaches us how to solve complex problems. It rarely teaches us how to build confidence, find our voice, understand organizational and professional dynamics, influence without authority, set healthy boundaries, or make thoughtful career decisions.
Resonance STEM Collective was created to make space for those conversations.
The goal is not simply to help women in STEM advance. It is to help them build the confidence, judgment, relationships, and leadership capability to thrive as their responsibilities grow.
We want you to rise. We also want you to be ready for what you rise into.
Early in a career, it can be tempting to focus on the next opportunity, title, or promotion. Resonance takes a different approach: build the foundation first. Promotions may change your title overnight; development rarely happens that quickly.
Why Resonance Exists
Who Resonance Is For
Resonance is designed primarily for early-career women in STEM who have built a professional foundation and are beginning to navigate greater responsibility, leadership, and career complexity.
Resonance is especially well suited for women who are curious, reflective, motivated to grow, and willing to support the growth of others.
Resonance may be especially valuable if you are:
stepping into more responsibility or leadership
navigating a career decision or transition
building confidence in your voice and judgment
learning to influence without formal authority
building greater awareness of organizational and professional dynamics
defining what sustainable success looks like for you
You do not need to be “behind” to benefit from mentoring. Growth is most powerful when it starts before you feel stuck.
Curious whether Resonance is the right fit?

The Six-Part Resonance Journey
-
Each Resonance session builds on the one before it, moving from confidence and leadership into communication, organizational awareness, sustainable success, and courageous career decisions.
The goal is not simply to help you advance. It is to help you build the foundation, judgment, and self-trust to thrive as your responsibilities grow.
-
Build confidence by recognizing the capabilities you already possess and intentionally developing the ones you need next.
This session explores how confidence is built through preparation, learning, experience, and evidence—not by waiting until self-doubt disappears.
-
Develop a leadership identity grounded in your own values, strengths, and purpose.
You will explore how leadership begins before formal authority, how to learn from other leaders without copying them, and how to grow into greater responsibility without becoming someone you are not.
-
Strengthen your ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and help good ideas move forward.
This session explores influence without authority, difficult conversations, professional visibility, feedback, and how stronger relationships can increase your impact.
-
Learn to better understand how organizations and professional environments actually work—not just how they appear on paper.
You will explore informal influence, professional relationships, unwritten norms, organizational dynamics, and how to navigate complexity with greater awareness.
-
Define success in a way that includes your career without allowing your career to consume everything else that matters.
This session explores boundaries, comparison, energy, relationships, fulfillment, and how to pursue meaningful ambition in a way you can actually sustain.
-
Build greater clarity and trust in your ability to navigate change, uncertainty, and major career decisions.
You will explore how to distinguish your own voice from outside expectations, evaluate opportunities thoughtfully, and take aligned next steps even when the full path is not yet clear.
The journey is cumulative: confidence supports leadership, leadership strengthens influence, influence benefits from organizational awareness, sustainable success creates greater clarity, and clarity supports more courageous decisions.
What You’ll Take Away
Resonance is designed to leave you with more than ideas. The goal is to help you build greater confidence, clarity, and practical tools that continue to serve you long after the six sessions are complete.
Greater Confidence
A stronger ability to recognize your own competence, trust your capacity to learn, and move forward without waiting to feel completely ready.
A Clearer Leadership Identity
Greater clarity about the leader you want to become—and the confidence to begin practicing leadership before a title gives you formal authority.
Stronger Communication & Influence
Practical ways to build trust, communicate clearly, navigate difficult conversations, and influence outcomes without losing your authenticity.
Greater Organizational Awareness
A better understanding of how organizations and professional environments function, including relationships, informal influence, unwritten norms, and the dynamics that shape decisions.
A More Sustainable Definition of Success
Greater awareness of your boundaries, priorities, relationships, and energy—and a definition of success that reflects the life you actually want to build.
Greater Clarity About What Comes Next
Greater clarity and a stronger framework for navigating career decisions, transitions, and uncertainty while listening to both evidence and your own values.
The goal is not to leave Resonance with everything figured out; it is to leave with greater trust in your ability to figure out what comes next.
You’ll also leave with your own reflections, action commitments, and Resonance Evidence File—a personal record of the capabilities, leadership, growth, and courage you might otherwise forget to give yourself credit for.
Meet Rebecca
Rebecca Pike, PhD, is a scientist, technical leader, mentor, and founder of Resonance STEM Collective.
Her career began in biology and marine science and led to a PhD in Biomedical Sciences focused on marine natural products and microbial diversity. Over the past 13 years, Rebecca has worked across vaccines, gene therapy, and antibody-drug conjugates, with experience spanning research and development, technical operations, manufacturing support, operational excellence, and global technical transfer leadership.
While science has always been central to her career, leadership and mentorship have become some of the most meaningful parts of her journey. Through roles supporting women’s mentoring and professional development, Rebecca has seen firsthand how confidence, sponsorship, community, and authentic leadership can shape a career.
She created Resonance to help more women in STEM build that foundation intentionally—developing the confidence, judgment, relationships, and leadership capability to grow without losing themselves in the process.
“Leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about creating clarity, building trust, and helping others move forward.”
Join the Resonance Founding Cohort
The Resonance Founding Cohort will bring together a small group of women in STEM who are curious, reflective, generous, and committed to growth.
Participants will be selected for either small-group mentoring or individualized 1:1 mentoring based on their goals, preferences, and program fit.
What makes the Founding Cohort unique
As a founding participant, you will experience the full six-part Resonance journey while also helping shape the program through thoughtful feedback and reflection.
Selection will focus on creating a learning community of women who are reflective, engaged, supportive of one another, and committed to growth.
